Oasis WWF "Dynamo"

This is a very large piece of land (around 900 hectares) located in the Pistoia Apennines, the aim of which is to protect and safeguard this unspoiled corner of Tuscany. An admission fee is charged: all income generated in this way is put towards the management of the oasis, as well as financing the Dynamo Camp Village (member of Paul Newman's Association of Hole in the Wall Camps) which hosts free summer camps for children affected by chronic and serious illnesses. website

OBSERVATOIRE astronomique de Gavinana

Situated only a few kilometres from our properties the Astronomical Observatory of Gavinana will help you to discover how planets, asteroids and stars look through the clean sky of the Pistoia Apennines. In July and August it is possible to book visits for observations on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays after 9pm and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10am (Sun observations). website
